Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Every track on Uncommon Ear is free. Pro is a paid software subscription, billed by our payment partner Paddle. This page explains when a Pro payment is refunded and how cancellation works.
Refunds on your first payment
If you ask within 14 days of your first Pro charge, we refund it in full. This applies to the first charge on a new subscription, monthly or yearly, and you don't need to give a reason.
To ask for a refund, email support@uncommonear.com from the address on your account. We reply by email. Paddle returns the money to your original payment method; banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
A full refund ends Pro and returns your account to the free plan. A partial refund does not end Pro. Your collections stay, within the free plan's limits.
Renewals
You can ask for a refund of a renewal within 14 days of a renewal charge. Email us as you would for a first payment, and we pass your request to Paddle. Paddle decides: it can approve the refund in full, approve part of it, or decline it. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
If a renewal was charged because of an error on our side, email us and we fix it.
How to cancel
Open your account page and choose Manage billing, which opens Paddle's billing portal, or email support@uncommonear.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. You keep Pro until then, and nothing further is charged.
Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately.
Disputes and chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank and Paddle records a chargeback, Pro access ends. Emailing us first is faster and keeps your account intact.
Your legal rights
Nothing here limits the refund rights you have under the consumer law where you live. Paddle is the merchant of record for Pro and its buyer terms also apply.
