What to look for
A bed sits under speech for minutes, so the list favors tracks tagged calm or ambient, most with few separate notes per second (an onset rate measured from the audio). Tracks are at least 60 seconds long and come from several creators, at most three per creator. The catalog does not label vocals reliably, so listen to the first minute of each pick before you use it under a host.
License
All 24 tracks on this page are CC0, so no credit is required. CC0 tracks need no credit in the episode, the show notes or the feed. Because beds repeat, a CC0 license means you do not need to track credits per episode.
How to use it
Loudness varies across these tracks, from -29 to -10 LUFS (an average loudness measure), so set the level by ear against the voice and not by the file. Fade the bed in a few seconds before the host starts, and loop or crossfade a track if your episode is longer than it is.
